What is a password manager?
A password manager is a software application that is used to create, store, and manage strong, unique passwords for all your accounts.
Why should you use a password manager?
Password managers help protect your passwords in a secure and convenient way. They allow you to use a unique randomly generated password for every account you own. All your passwords are conveniently stored in one place, so you will only need to remember one strong and unique master password.
According to LastPass’s Psychology of Passwords report, 60% of users are afraid of forgetting their login credentials. Those users are prone to reuse their old passwords, create weak ones, or write them down. These bad password practices could be avoided by using a password manager.
