DragonFly-Devices Wireless Network
DragonFly-Devices is for devices and appliances (outside of the residence halls) that cannot connect to DragonFly3 because they do not support WPA2 and 8021.X enterprise authentication.
If a device fits this category it can be connected to the DragonFly-Devices Wireless Network using WPA2-Personal (aka WPA2-PSK or Pre-Shared Key) authentication. In addition, the Wi-Fi address of all devices connected to DragonFly-Devices must be registered in the Network Registration System before they connect.
All computers, phones and tablets should connect to DragonFly3 network instead of using the DragonFly-Devices network.
For Convenience, Students connecting appliances and devices in the Residence Halls should use DragonFly-Play network instead of using the DragonFly-Devices network.
How to Connect
Step One: Register Your Device's Wi-Fi Address with the Network Registration System
All wireless devices have a Wi-Fi address. The Wi-Fi address is also known as a Wireless MAC Address, Wireless Hardware Address, or Wireless Physical Address. Wi-Fi addresses are 12 characters in length and are usually displayed by the operating system (or a sticker on appliances) in one of the following formats:

Find the Wi-FI address for your device and write it down. If you can't find the Wi-Fi address check with the user manual that came with your device for assistance.
Use the following link to register the Wi-Fi address, you will need to login with your Drexel One userid and password.
Register Your Devices WiFi Address
Note: To register your device, you must be connected to the campus network. If you are trying to register from an off-campus location, be sure to launch VPN before attempting to register.
Before you leave the registration system, be sure to write down the DragonFly-Devices WPA2-Personal (Pre-Shared Key) network password that you're given; you'll need to enter this password in your device before it connects to the network.
Step Two: Configure your Device to connect to Dragonfly-Devices
Follow the instructions that came with your device to configure the Wi-Fi network.
- Connect to the Wi-Fi network named dragonfly-devices.
- Configure the Wi-Fi network password provided in step one (above) in your device where prompted.
