Sign in to your Drexel account with a passkey

Microsoft passkey is now available to use when signing into your Drexel account.

With passkeys, you can sign into your account using your face, fingerprint, or PIN. Signing in with a passkey is simple and fast and helps increase security.

Creating a Passkey

Please make sure to first have Microsoft Authenticator set up on your phone. You can follow the directions here, MFA Setup, to install Authenticator. To create a passkey for your Drexel account, follow these steps on the device for which you'd like to create a passkey:

  1. Sign in to your Security info at mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
  2. Choose Add sign-in method.
  3. Select Passkey or Passkey in Microsoft Authenticator.
  4. Follow the instructions on your device.

Using your Passkey to sign in

To sign into your work or school account with a passkey, follow these steps whenever you get a sign-in prompt.

  1. Choose Sign-in Options​​​​​.
  2. Choose Face, Fingerprint, PIN, or Security Key.
  3. Select your passkey from the list available.
  4. Your device will open a security window where you can use your face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key.
