Microsoft passkey is now available to use when signing into your Drexel account.
With passkeys, you can sign into your account using your face, fingerprint, or PIN. Signing in with a passkey is simple and fast and helps increase security.
Creating a Passkey
Please make sure to first have Microsoft Authenticator set up on your phone. You can follow the directions here, MFA Setup, to install Authenticator. To create a passkey for your Drexel account, follow these steps on the device for which you'd like to create a passkey:
- Sign in to your Security info at mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
- Choose Add sign-in method.
- Select Passkey or Passkey in Microsoft Authenticator.
- Follow the instructions on your device.
Using your Passkey to sign in
To sign into your work or school account with a passkey, follow these steps whenever you get a sign-in prompt.
- Choose Sign-in Options.
- Choose Face, Fingerprint, PIN, or Security Key.
- Select your passkey from the list available.
- Your device will open a security window where you can use your face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key.
