OVERVIEW OF SERVICE

Web*Finance, part of the Web*Financials suite, is a tool to manage and track financial transactions within an organization. Drexel IT provides support for the technical side.

DESCRIPTION & FEATURES

  • Review fiscal account details and activity
  • Review all transactions against the organization by account number for a month or series of months
  • Review suspended documents details, encumbrances, grant activity, and more
  • Document Tracking - used to view the details about invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders
  • Review Grant inception to- date balances and activity

GETTING STARTED

To qualify for access you must:

  1. Be a budget administrator or be authorized by a budget administrator.
  2. Be a Principal Investigator or be authorized by a Principal Investigator
  3. Submit a completed Web*Finance Account Request/Change Form.

Drexel IT Core Enterprise Systems (CES) provides technical support for Web*Finance (e.g. password resets, access requests). 

TRAINING SESSIONS

To request Web*Finance training, see Training Request on Human Resources' Web site. Access requests for Web*Finance will need to be submitted prior to training.

Based on your access, different tools will be available to you within Web*Financials.
