Microsoft calls Office 365 its 'universal toolkit for collaboration.' At its core, Office 365 provides a collection of applications and services that empower individuals and organizations to achieve more. The traditional Office suite of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel are still there, along with other familiar products like SharePoint as well as completely new apps like Microsoft Teams, Sway, Planner and more. In this introductory session, we'll orient you to the Office 365 portal and take a high-level look at the breadth of tools available there and discuss potential use cases. Additional courses in this series will provide in-depth exposure to certain key applications in the Office 365 platform.

Teams is Microsoft's 'productivity hub' in Office 365, combining tools to communicate and collaborate with colleagues within work groups and across the organization. Teams also integrates with other Office 365 apps like SharePoint and Planner to expand its capabilities. Participants will build a strong understanding of how to use Microsoft Teams to collaborate with colleagues in a more seamless way.

SharePoint Online is an integral part of Office 365, providing a platform for storing and sharing documents and other content. In this course, you'll learn about Document Libraries, Lists and Pages in SharePoint. Using these elements, you can create Sites that keep visitors or colleagues engaged and productive, making it easy for them to find just what they're looking for.

TASK MANAGEMENT IN OFFICE 365
Task Management explores the task management options within Office 365. In this session, you'll learn how to utilize To Do for your personal tasks, Planner for managing team project tasks, and Tasks in Microsoft Teams that allows centralized access to all tasks. Leave the session with a better understanding of how to streamline your project and personal tasks.

INTRO TO AUTOMATION IN OFFICE 365 (MICROSOFT FLOW)
Microsoft Power Automate is a platform designed to help individuals automate processes to stay informed and be more productive. In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to create your own Flows from a few of the hundreds of templates available as well as how to customize and extend those templates to meet your specific requirements. We'll also discuss how you can use the fundamental components of Flow (triggers, actions and conditions) to automate existing business processes like document reviews and approvals. There is more to Flow than we can cover in a one-hour workshop, but by the end, you'll have a functional knowledge of the platform and know where to go to learn more.

Microsoft Bookings makes scheduling and managing appointments a breeze. With built in flexibility and ability to customize, Bookings can be designed to fit the situation and needs of many different parts of an organization.

With Microsoft Forms, you can create surveys, quizzes, and polls, invite others to respond to it using almost any web browser or mobile device, see real-time results as they're submitted, use built-in analytics to evaluate responses, and export results to Excel for additional analysis. In this info session, we'll look at some common use cases of forms and discuss how Forms can be integrated with other Office 365 apps like Teams and Power Automate.

MICROSOFT LISTS
Microsoft Lists are the latest evolution of SharePoint Lists. A List is like a web-based spreadsheet that can be used to store and collaborate on many types of tabular data. It could be a list of people, events, inventory or almost anything else you might normally store in an Excel workbook. In this session, you'll learn about the various ways to create a new List, how to work with List data and why you might want to move your Excel data to a List. You'll also get a brief introduction to column and view formatting which can help you make your Lists more visually engaging and interactive. Some experience in SharePoint or completion of the Microsoft SharePoint workshop is recommended, but not required.

MICROSOFT ONENOTE
Microsoft OneNote is a computer program for free-form information gathering and multi-user collaboration. It gathers users' notes (handwritten or typed), drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries. You can use OneNote to organize lecture notes, meeting minutes, or research materials. It can run on PC, Mac, tablet, or your phone; helping you to stay organized no matter where you are. Participants will learn the basics of OneNote: how to make and organize notes, how to include pictures and files within notebooks, and how to share and collaborate with others in a notebook.

SHAREPOINT DESIGN
As the storage foundation behind other applications like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint often serves a utilitarian role in Office 365. However, SharePoint also provides you a powerful set of tools for sharing information with your Team or audience using Pages and News posts. In this session, you'll learn how to build a functional and beautiful home page for your Team site as well as how to design and deploy a template for others to use when posting News to the site. Completion of the Microsoft SharePoint workshop or equivalent experience/knowledge is required.
