Request a New or Modified Report

Use this to request a new report or request changes to an existing report in Advance or Tableau. This service is intended for reporting needs that support ongoing advancement work such as fundraising tracking, stewardship, leadership reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.

Submit this request if you need to:

  • Build a brand‑new report or dashboard that does not currently exist
  • Modify an existing report (e.g., add or remove fields, update filters, adjust calculations, or refine layouts)
  • Improve usability, accuracy, or alignment with current business processes

Having a built report helps ensure:

  • Accurate, consistent use of Advancement data
  • Clear definitions, filters, and calculations
  • Appropriate security and data governance standards

When submitting your request, please describe the business question the report should answer, the intended audience, how the report will be used, and whether it is needed on a recurring basis. For modification requests, include the name of the existing report and a description of the changes needed. Providing this information helps us deliver a reliable, reusable report that meets your goals and is aligned with institutional standards and best practices.
