Follow these instructions to access your Drexel Microsoft 365 email using the Outlook desktop app, Outlook on the web, or a mobile device.

Before you begin

Before you can access your Drexel email, you must:

  2. Set up multifactor authentication.

Access your Drexel email

Choose one of the following methods to access your Drexel email.

Outlook desktop app (recommended)

If your Microsoft 365 license includes the Outlook desktop app, we recommend using it because it provides the best experience and supports all Microsoft 365 email, calendar, contacts, and collaboration features.

Note: Some accounts, such as alumni and retirees, only include access to Outlook on the web. If you don't have access to the Outlook desktop app, use Outlook on the web instead.
  1. Download and install Microsoft 365 on your PC or Mac.
  2. Open Outlook.
  3. Enter your Drexel email address, it looks like abc123@drexel.edu, and then select Continue.
  4. Sign in with your Drexel password, and then follow the prompts and verify your sign-in with multifactor authentication.
  5. Outlook automatically configures your mailbox.

Outlook on the web

Note: If you're using Linux or another unsupported operating system, Outlook on the web is the recommended way to access your Drexel email.
  1. Go to outlook.office.com.
  2. Enter your Drexel email address, it looks like abc123@drexel.edu, and then select Next.
  3. Sign in with your Drexel password, and then follow the prompts and verify your sign-in with multifactor authentication.
